Bush's Letter To Bill Clinton Goes Viral After Final Presidential Debate

MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- A letter has gone viral in a time of social media posts and Twitter wars.
It's the letter from George H.W. Bush to Bill Clinton from 1993 - after Bush lost to Clinton in the 1992 election, according to TIME.
The letter has resurfaced - showing an example of a more civil time during our current election season that's been marked with harsh rhetoric.
In the letter, from Bush's presidential library, Bush is welcoming the incoming president.
"I wish you well. I wish your family well," Bush wrote. "I am rooting hard for you."
He even imparted some advice to Bill Clinton.
"I'm not a very good one to give advice, but just don't let the critics discourage you or push you off course," wrote Bush.
Hillary Clinton posted a picture of the letter on her Instagram back in June but it went viral once again after the last presidential debate Wednesday night. Donald Trump was asked if he would accept the results of the election in November. He responded, "I will look at it at the time."
