Bush Named AFC Player Of The Week
MIAMI (CBSMiami.com) – Fresh off of a career day in which he ran for more than 200 yards against the Buffalo Bills, running back Reggie Bush picked up an NFL honor this week.
Bush was named the AFC Offensive Player of the Week for Week 15 by the National Football League Wednesday.
Bush set a career-high for rushing yards (203), average per carry (8.1), and attempts (25) during the 30-23 victory over the Bills.
It was the third most rushing yards in a single game in Dolphins history and highest since Ricky Williams went for 216 yards against the Bears in 2002.
Bush is the second Miami Dolphins player to win AFC Player of the Week honors this season. Quarterback Matt Moore also won the honor after his week nine performance against the Kansas City Chiefs.
