Burglary Duo Swipes More Than $50K From Homes
MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Police are searching for a burglary duo for their connection with two burglaries Monday afternoon.
The first burglary was in Miami at 718 Southwest 26 Road just after noon, September 9, 2013.
A witness in the area noticed a dark colored car in the driveway of the home.
According to that witness, when the car was approached, the driver yelled for the another person to come outside of the home.
The man came out of the home with a pillowcase filled with jewelry and money with a value of more than $50,000.
The men left that scene and went to 540 Southwest 25 Road, also in Miami, where they allegedly committed another burglary.
The men are described as white or possibly Hispanic, 5'10" or 5'11 tall with multiple tattoos.
Surveillance video captured the two men in the act and police hope it will help locate the alleged burglars.
