Burglars Hit New MetroPCS Store In Hollywood
HOLLYWOOD (CBS4) - A thief, or a couple of thieves, left empty-handed after going through a lot of trouble to break into a brand new MetroPCS store in Hollywood.
Hollywood police spokesman Lt. Norris Redding said the would-be burglar or burglars first broke in to an empty restaurant space next to the new cellphone store in the 6700 block of Taft Street just before dawn. They then made a hole in the wall and entered the MetroPCS store.
Once inside the store, an alarm was tripped and the thief, or thieves, were forced to make a run for it. According to Redding because MetroPCS was just moving into the location, there was no merchandise in the store - just shelving.
