Roof Burglar Caught On Camera Cashing-In On Stolen Scratch-Off Tickets
KENDALL (CBSMiami) – Police are searching for a thief who broke into a convenience store by entering through the roof and got away with thousands of dollars in scratch-off tickets.
The burglar entered the store, located at 9869 S.W. 88th Street, on December 7, 2013 at approximately 12 a.m. through the roof, according to the Miami-Dade Police Department.

Once inside, police say the thief took money, various scratch-off tickets and a laptop. He got away with property totaling approximately $8,100.
The day after the break-in, the thief redeemed a scratch-off ticket that was taken during the burglary.
Surveillance video captured the image of the subject. Investigators are hoping the images will lead to an arrest.
