Buju Banton To Perform At Bayfront Park
MIAMI (CBS4) - For the first time since his arrest on federal drug trafficking charges, Jamaican reggae star Buju Banton will take to the stage and perform.
The Buju Banton & Friends "Before The Dawn" Concert will take place Sunday at the Bayfront Park Amphitheater in downtown Miami. The concert will raise money for his security and other expenses while he awaits retrial.
Banton is accused of conspiring to buy cocaine from an undercover officer. A jury deadlocked in his first trial. He was then placed on house arrest in November. A judge granted him permission to perform Sunday's concert as long as he followed strict security measures.
