DANIA BEACH (CBSMiami) -- Newly released video shows the moments before the arrest of Miami Gardens' former police chief accused of soliciting a prostitute, according to deputies.

The two women in the room along with Johnson talk about how quick he got to the room.

One of the women then says,"She said you wanted heels right?"

The man responds, "okay."

"Alright, it's a hundred roses. You good with that?"one of the women said in the video.

"Okay, yeah, " said the man.

At that point, the woman asks to see the money.

The man appears to take cash from his pocket and hand it over.

One of the women later asks the man, "So where are you coming from?"

The man responds "work."

A few seconds later, deputies busted into the room and arrested the man. During the arrest, the man remained calm and was walked out of the room.

BSO said other arrests were made that night at the undisclosed hotel.

Johnson bonded out a few hours after his arrest. He had a few words for the public that night.

" I want to apologize to the community and I want to apologize to my elected officials," said Johnson."Tonight was very unfortunate situation for me dealing with an incident that occurred today. It just overwhelmed me. The stress overwhelmed me and I made a very bad decision to deal with that moment that I never experienced before."

He blamed his actions on stress at work, specifically a recent deadly police shooting of a mentally ill man and an accident involving a child and an unmarked Miami Gardens Patrol car.

Johnson was fired after his arrest. He had served as chief since May 2014. He took over the department after the previous chief resigned amid allegations that his officers repeatedly harassed and intimidated Miami Gardens residents.

The city named Antonio Brooklen as the interim police chief.

It's unclear when a permanent replacement will be announced.
