BSO Seeks Walgreens Armed Robbers Caught On Tape
OAKLAND PARK (CBS4) - The Broward Sheriff's Office has released surveillance video of an armed robbery at a Walgreens in the hopes someone might recognize the suspects.
The crime took place at the Walgreens located at 110 E. Prospect Road in Oakland Park on November 19th. It was 9:30 p.m. when the two suspects walked into the store. One of them walked into the manager's office, where he held the manager and another employee at gunpoint while trying to get money out of the safe.
After a couple of minutes, another store employee approached the door of the manager's office and runs away when she spots the armed man. The suspect grabbed a small bag with money and ran out of the store with his accomplice.
The gunman is described as slender, about 6' tall, weighs approximately 160 lbs., with curly hair and no facial hair. The second suspect has a light complexion, black, short hair, about 6' tall and about 170 lbs.
