BSO Looking For Armed Duo Who Targeted Islamorada Fish Company
DANIA BEACH (CBSMiami) – The Broward Sheriff's Office has asked for the public's help identifying two men who robbed the Islamorada Fish Company in Dania Beach on April 30.
According to the BSO, two armed men snuck into the restaurant after two employees went to throw out the garbage. When the workers came back, they were confronted by the armed men.
The robbers took the cell phones of both victims and tied their hands and locked them in the bathroom. After that, BSO said the robbers broke open the office and then held a female employee at gunpoint as she filled a garbage bag with cash from the safe.
The robbers tied the third employee's hand and feet together and ran from the business with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Both suspects wore black shirts to cover their faces and wore gloves. One robber was said to be about 6' tall with a slim build; while the other was about 5'5" with an average build. Neither robber spoke with an accent, according to BSO.
