BSO Arrests 12 People In Prostitution Ring
MIAMI (CBSMiami) - Broward Sheriff's Office, during a one-night prostitution sting, arrested a total of 12 people.
BSO's Crime Suppression Teams, along with Dania's CST, targeted the area along Northwest 27 Avenue, between the 600 and 900 block, in a sting called 47 Op.
Undercover detectives, according to BSO, solicited sex for money from street-level prostitutes in the area of Central Broward.
The operation lasted approximately four hours, authorities report, and ended with 12 people arrested, five males and seven females.
The sting was organized due to complaints from residents regarding prostitution going on in their neighborhoods.
