BSO: Alleged "Dangerous Love Connection Crew" Arrested
FT. LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) – Back in July, a 56-year-old man went out clubbing, met a 21-year-old woman, and decided to bring her back home. The night ended with the man, in his own home, beat and robbed by the woman's two male friends and BSO was left looking for what they called, the "Dangerous Love Connection Crew."
Broward Sheriff's Office have arrested Vanesa Diaz, 21, Carlos Bariola, 32, and Alexis Quian, 25, as suspects in the violent robbing and beating of Eilan Taregan, 56, in his own home after a night of clubbing.
In July, according to police, Taregan went clubbing when he met a young woman in her 20s back to his house for a drink. The female suspect was accompanied by two Hispanic males and all three drove to Taregan's apartment in the female's black Toyota Camry.
Taregan and the woman began to drink alcohol once he believed the two males were gone. The female, according to BSO, then went outside to have a cigarette and left the front door unlocked for the two men to enter.
The men entered the home, punched and kicked Taregan until he fell down on the ground. The men then tied his hands and feet, leaving him in the bathroom as they stole his money, several watches, phone, jewelry and wallet.
Bariola was arrested on September 18 and was charged with burglary with assault or batter and violation of probation. Diaz, arrested September 23, and Quiran, arrested on September 30, were both charged with burglary with assault or battery and robbery.
