Bruins' Lucic To Alzner: 'I'm Not A Crybaby'
BOSTON (CBS) - Washington's Karl Alzner should be ready for Milan Lucic on Thursday.
Late in the third period of the Bruins' 4-3 Game 3 win in Washington Monday night, Lucic and Capitals defenseman Dennis Wideman started scraping with each other. Then Lucic turned his attention to Matt Hendricks, before Alzner jumped in as well.
After the scrum was broken up by officials, Alzner made a crying gesture at Lucic.
Lucic did not say much about it after the game, but questioned where Alzner was coming from calling him a crybaby.
"I don't even know what to say on my side to show I'm not a crybaby." Lucic said after the game. "That's a lot coming from a guy I think who's got two roughing penalties in three years, so there you go."

When asked if he felt Alzner was the third man into the scrum, Lucic gave a simple "yup" and ended it at that.
Lucic was whistled for a double-minor on the play, which was not the smartest thing with the score tied 3-3, but it seemed to spark the team a bit. Just 30 seconds later, Zdeno Chara slapped in the game-winner, and Boston took a 2-1 series lead.
"[Lucic] is definitely an emotional guy and he does whatever he can to get us going," said forward Daniel Paille, who tied the game at 2-2 in the second period with his first goal of the postseason. "He definitely has the right attitude. We're happy to have that. He might not be scoring right now, but he cares and he shows it out on the ice."
Lucic has yet to score this series, as none of the Bruins top six forwards have, but he set a physical-tone throughout the game.

"Personally I kind of love that type of emotion every night," said Paille. "You can see both team's showing that emotion. I hope it continues."
There is a very good chance it does when the puck drops Thursday night for Game 4.
