Bret Weakens To Tropical Depression
MIAMI (CBS4) – Bret has been downgraded to a tropical depression as it continues to trek in a northeasterly direction across the Atlantic.
At 11 p.m. the center of the Bret was about 295 miles northwest of Bermuda. The storm's maximum sustained winds had decreased to 35 mph as it moved to the northeast at 14 mph.
The system is expected to gradually weaken and could dissipate into a remnant low pressure system by Thursday afternoon.
