Braves Filet Fish 6-2 After Miami Error
ATLANTA (AP) — Tommy Hanson earned his first win since July, and the Atlanta Braves scored two runs on Miami left fielder Bryan Petersen's error during a 6-2 victory over the Marlins on Thursday night.
Miami led 2-0 before the Braves scored four runs in the fourth inning. Dan Uggla and Andrelton Simmons had run-scoring doubles before Jacob Turner (1-4) walked Jose Constanza to load the bases.
Petersen dropped Martin Prado's sinking liner, allowing David Ross and Simmons to score.
Hanson (13-9) gave up an earned run and six hits in 5 1-3 innings. He had four losses and three no-decisions since his last win on July 30, also against Miami.
