Brandon Marshall's Wife Bonds Out Of Jail
FORT LAUDERDALE (CBS4)- The wife of Miami Dolphin's star wide receiver Brandon Marshall who was arrested Friday afternoon for violating a judge's order to stay away from her husband and the couple's home has bonded out of jail.
During a court appearance Saturday morning bond was set at $1,000 for 27-year old Michi Nogami-Marshall. According to jail officials, Nogami-Marshall bonded out just before 10 p.m. Saturday night.
The restraining order which Nogami-Marshall violated was issued last April in connection to an incident in which she reportedly stabbed her husband.
Michi Marshall was arrested and charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon on Friday, April 22, 2011 after she was accused of stabbing the football player at their Southwest Ranches home, according to the police report.
According to the arrest report, Michi Marshall told deputies she was living in the couple's home while Marshall was out of town.
When Brandon Marshall returned home there was a "verbal dispute" — according to the arrest report — and someone placed the call to 911 then hung up.
Deputies responded and arrested Michi Marshall around 10 a.m.
Investigators said there was no sign of physical violence.
She was arrested for violating a judge's order to stay 500 feet away from the couple's home, and to not have contact with Brandon Marshall.
Brandon Marshall was in intensive care the morning after the incident, but was released from the hospital by 3 p.m. Saturday after surgery.
In April's police report she indicated that she stabbed Marshall in self defense.
According to the arrest report, Michi Marshall "did unlawfully and intentionally arm herself with a kitchen knife and stab the victim in the abdomen."

The NFL Network reported that Marshall also had defensive wounds on both of his hands, although that information was not included in the police report. The NFL Network cited a source close to the investigation.
BSO said when deputies arrived Friday the Marshall's were not helpful.
"It seems as though the same thing that happened before once deputies arrive responding to a 911 call, neither one of the Marshall's really want to cooperate," Coleman-Wright said.
The Broward State Attorney's Office said they continue to investigate the April 22 stabbing. However, in a statement, they made clear the case is encountering roadblocks.
The statement reads in part: "Despite numerous efforts, we so far have been unable to get Mr. Marshall to agree to voluntarily speak to our office about the incident. We continue to diligently pursue this matter."
At a charity event Friday night for the Fins Foundation on Miami Beach, Dolphins defensive back Nolan Carroll said the situation was not a distraction for the team but more of a headache for Marshall.
"It's unfortunate how it happened and I just hope everything's able to settle down and he can come back and start working out with us," Carroll said.

The couple was engaged on February 5, 2009, in Hawaii, according to hollywoodcelebgossips.com.
The report said that Brandon Marshall provided sworn testimony advising that he slipped and fell onto a broken glass vase, but the area of where the vase was broken "indicated no blood within the immediate area to substantiate his claim."
Marshall, acquired by the Dolphins last April from the Denver Broncos to become their biggest offensive threat in 2010, led Miami in receiving yards with 1,014 despite missing two games with a hamstring injury.
He has a five-year, $50 million contract.
Marshall, who wed Michi Marshall in 2010, has had a string of scrapes with the law in three states, repeated domestic disputes, contract squabbles, and petulant behavior during three years with the Denver Broncos.
