Branden Albert Returns to Miami Dolphins Practice

DAVIE (CBSMiami/WQAM) -- The man with the valuable job of protecting Ryan Tannehill's blind side has finally returned to practice.
"Everything, I'm back doing everything," Branden Albert said before the Dolphins practiced on Tuesday. "I'm tired of being on the side and tired of watching. I just want to be out there with my teammates."
Albert tore the ACL and MCL in his right knee last November against the Lions.
As for how the offensive line has done without their key cog at left tackle, Albert has been pleased though it's tough to tell this early in the preseason.
"I mean I can't tell right now," he said. "They're doing good without me right now. I can't say when I come back that I'll do this to help the offensive line. I think they're doing pretty good. Only time will tell.
"I think our guards are doing good. All you guys and everybody's down on them. I think they're handling it pretty well. I think Dallas [Thomas] and Billy [Turner] are doing a good job and they're going to get better. They're going to improve."
Albert is still uncertain about his availability for Week 1 against the Redskins, but being fully cleared to practice with two more preseason games to play has to be a promising sign.

-- Koa Misi also returned to practice after dealing with an ankle injury. He has yet to play in the preseason.
-- Rookie receiver DeVante Parker, who's been rehabbing after undergoing surgery on his foot this spring, was seen running hard and catching passes in the bubble but has not been cleared for full practice just yet.
-- Not practicing was offensive tackle Jason Fox (concussion) cornerback Jamar Taylor (quad) and linebacker Jordan Tripp (ankle).
