Bosh To Join Wade & LeBron As All-Star Starters
MIAMI (CBSMiami) – When the NBA All-Star game tips off this Sunday, it's going to look a lot like a Miami Heat game. That's because as of Friday, the Heat have three players in the starting lineup for the Eastern Conference.
Eastern Conference head coach Erik Spoelstra announced Friday that Chris Bosh would move into the spot vacated by point guard Rajon Rondo after the Celtics star was forced out of the game with a torn anterior cruciate ligament.
Bosh will join fellow Heat superstars LeBron James and Dwyane Wade in the starting lineup, along with Carmelo Anthony and Kevin Garnett, who has said this will be his final All-Star game appearance.
The Western Conference All-Star team will start Kobe Bryant, Chris Paul, Kevin Durant, Dwight Howard, and Blake Griffin.
Also on All-Star weekend will be the Slam Dunk which will include: Gerald Green, Terrence Ross, James White, Eric Bledsoe, Jeremy Evans, and Kenneth Faried.
