Bosh & Others Arrive For Workouts
MIAMI (CBSMiami.com) – Thursday morning was the first day that NBA players could finally rejoin their teams and being practicing at team facilities.
The first player to arrive at the AmericanAirlines Arena was forward Juwan Howard, who technically isn't a member of the Miami Heat. But, NBA rules do allow for Howard to work out at the Heat's facilities.
But the biggest names showed up just a few minutes after Howard.
Power forward, and one-third of the Big Three, Chris Bosh and power forward Udonis Haslem both made their way to the AmericanAirlines Arena Thursday morning.
Haslem's name exploded on the NBA free agent rumor mill Thursday as rumors of the Heat possibly trading him and Mike Miller began making the rounds.
The other two-thirds of the Heat's Big Three didn't show up to the arena Thursday morning.
Small forward LeBron James played in a flag-football game in Ohio Wednesday night, while shooting guard Dwyane Wade was believed to be out of town Thursday.
The rest of the Heat's players should begin returning to South Florida in the coming days and possibly being informally practicing on a consistent basis.
