Mystery Surrounds Dead Body Found In Front Of Miami Home

MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- An investigation is underway after a body was discovered in front of a north Miami-Dade home.
Early Thursday morning, the tarp-covered body lay in the yard at 760 N.W. 145th Terrace. In this quiet residential area, neighbors woke up to a crime scene extending several blocks.
"While I'm walking outside, I see a whole lot of commotion. So now, while I'm looking to the right, I see a dead person on the floor, like what's going on," asked resident Tisha Jean. "This is very shocking for me, shocking for my kids. 'Cause my kids got to go to school and I have no idea which way to go."
Miami-Dade Homicide units were seen walking through the area looking for clues and eventually extending the crime scene. Evidence markers stretched down the street from where the body was found.
So far, investigators have been tight-lipped on just who this person was and how they may have died, putting neighbors even more on edge.
"This is a quiet neighborhood, this is the first time I've ever seen this happen, that's somebody's dead on this block," said Jean. "I never knew that happened last night."
