Boca Man Killed In Motorcycle Crash On I-95
FT. LAUDERDALE (CBS4) - An early morning accident on I-95 has claimed the life a Boca Raton man who was riding a motorcycle.
The Florida Highway Patrol said around 4:30 a.m. 25-year old Jeffrey Fishman, on his 2006 Suzuki, was heading north on the highway when he ran into the back of a Mercedes just south of Sunrise Boulevard.
Fishman, who was thrown from the bike, was rushed to Broward General Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
FHP spokesman Sgt. Mark Wysocky said the driver of the Mercedes, identified as 23-year old Antoine Williams of Lauderhill, and his female passenger, 28-year old Alicia Ramsay, took off on foot after the crash. After the FHP contacted the owner of the car, Williams returned to the scene of the accident. He was charged with driving without a valid driver's license, driving on a suspended ID card and leaving the scene of an accident.
Wysocky said the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
