In 1986 owners Edward Villella and Tony Ansin opened their first dance studio on Lincoln Road in Miami Beach. Now, a quarter of a decade later, the Miami City Ballet is one of the largest ballet companies in the country.
Expert dancers from all over the world vie for the coveted title of Miami City Ballerina but only few are accepted. The dancers who are accepted are polished into world-class performers known to bring audiences to their feet.
You can watch the classic Nutcracker performed by the Miami City Ballet at the Adrienne Arsht Center December 17th-23rd.
Tip: Don't worry about missing any excitement because you dont' want to spend a fortune on a costly front row seats, the Arsht Center was architecturally designed for every seat in the house to have a great view of the stage. The acoustics at the Arsht Center are also phenomenal.
