This long-standing South Florida tradition is perfect for kids of all ages. Come out on Thanksgiving Day to see a parade featuring Thanksgiving-themed floats, marching bands, members of the Miami Heat, Miami Dolphins and Miami Marlins sports teams and their cheerleaders/dancers. The event starts at 10 a.m. but arrive early to get the best seats in the house. There will be bleachers set up for spectators and local dignitaries at the intersection of Northwest 125th Street and Northwest 8th Avenue where the parade performance will take place. If you miss the bleacher seats, make sure to bring a beach chair instead and position yourself along Northwest 125th Street so that you won't miss a minute of the action.
