BCS Title Game Set For 1/7/13 At Sun Life Stadium
MIAMI (CBSMiami) – College football season hasn't even opened fall camp, but the Football Bowl Association has set the date for the final game of the year which will be held at Sun Life Stadium.
The FBA has set the Discover BCS National Championship game for Monday, January 7. The game will kick off at 8:30 p.m. The 2013 BCS National Championship game will be one of the last for the troubled BCS.
Starting after the 2014 season, the BCS as it is currently known will end and a four-team college playoff will commence after each season. The playoff will have two semifinal games and a true national championship game. The teams are expected to be selected by a committee, similar to the NCAA basketball tournament.
The FBA will hold the Discover Orange Bowl on January 1st at 8:30 p.m., also at Sun Life Stadium.

- Outback Bowl – January 1, 1 p.m., Tampa
- Capital One Bowl – January 1, 1 p.m., Orlando
- TaxSlayer.com Gator Bowl – January 1, 12 p.m., Jacksonville
- Russell Athletic – December 28, 5:30 p.m., Orlando
- Beef O'Brady's St. Petersburg Bowl – December 21, 7:30 p.m., St. Petersburg
