DUNEDIN (CBSMiami/AP) — An autopsy is pending for a 4-month-old baby who was found cold and limp by the caregiver who has been charged in her death.
The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office says Klo'e Morad was left Friday in the care of a family friend, 58-year-old Vivien Grey, at a Dunedin apartment.
Detectives say Grey checked on the baby twice but did not move or touch her. At 4:15 p.m., Grey told investigators that she found the infant cold and limp.
Shortly afterward, Grey left the apartment and told a family member that Klo'e was dead but she had not called 911 because she was scared.
The baby was pronounced dead at the scene. Grey was charged with felony child neglect. Pinellas County jail records show that Grey was released on $10,000 bond. No phone number for Grey was listed.
