BSO Looking For Man Suspected In Double Homicide In Weston
WESTON (CBSMiami) – Broward Sheriff's Office Investigators are looking for 53-year-old Pedro Maldonado in connection to a violent double homicide in a Weston neighborhood Tuesday evening.
According to investigators, Maldonado was last seen driving a black Volvo SUV with Florida license plate 256-XHE.
"Anyone who seen him should call 911 immediately," BSO Spokesman Dani Moschella said. "He's considered armed and extremely dangerous."
Moschella said the SWAT team was called out to 4266 Vineyard Circle in the Courtyard at the Grove community in Weston at about 4:20 pm.
When they made entry into the home, they found the bodies of an adult woman and a teenage boy.
Investigators said the two "died violently."
The names of the victims were not immediately released, nor was their relationship to each other or their suspected killer.
Neighbors in the usually quiet community were stunned.
"It's sad in general. Especially in Weston. A lot of people link it to being not really that kind of an area," Kala Trotta said.
"You have to feel for the terror of both the people that obviously were attacked in some way," neighbor Doug Kalman said.
Investigators have not said how the victims died.
