ATV Accident Kills One, Injures Two Others In Brownsville
MIAMI (CBS4) - One person was killed and another was injured when the all-terrain vehicle (ATV) they were riding on collided with a car in Brownsville Wednesday night.
Miami-Dade Police Det. Roy Rutland said a Toyota Camry was travelling westbound on N.W. 52nd Street at around 7:30 p.m. when it crashed into the ATV, which was travelling northbound on N.W. 31st Avenue.
Witnesses on the scene told CBS4's David Sutta that the ATV ran a stop sign.
Both passengers on the ATV were thrown from the vehicle on impact. The driver died on the scene, the passenger was taken the Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hosptial.
A passenger inside the Camry was also taken to the hospital. The driver stayed on the scene and provided information to investigators. No one inside the car was injured.
The victims have not been identified.
