Art Basel Names A Director For The Americas

MIAMI (CBSMiami/AP) - The global Art Basel organization has a new director who will concentrate solely on the art world in the Americas.
The organization which operates annual art fairs in Miami Beach, Switzerland and Hong Kong announced Tuesday that Noah Horowitz, 35, will begin the new position in August.
Horowitz, for the past four years, has been the executive director of the Armory Show in New York.
Art Basel Director Marc Spiegler, according to CBS4 News partner the Miami Herald, says the organization's leaders had been discussing the value of having a director who could oversee art in the Americas.
