POMPANO BEACH (CBSMiami) -- Police say a man wanted for a series of armed robberies has stayed true to a single target while switching up his weapon and preferred method of attack.
The Broward Sheriff's Office is now looking for the guy responsible for four 7-Eleven robberies within a two-week period in Pompano Beach, including an occasional accomplice.
Each incident happened between the hours of 2:30 a.m. and 3:45 a.m.
The first robbery occurred February 23rd at 2040 N.E. 49th Street. The second was the following day at 14 N. Federal Hwy. He used a gun in both incidents.
Two days later, he changed his approach by first cutting the power to the store at 2391 N. Dixie Hwy. He used a machete and a second person, possibly a female, to rob the place.
Then on March 7th, the duo again used a machete, but kept the lights on this time at the 7-Eleven located at 209 West Copans Road, police said.
If you know who this guy is, there's a $3,000 reward for a tip that leads to an arrest. As always, you can stay anonymous. Call Broward Crime Stoppers at (954) 493-TIPS.
