WESTON (CBSMiami) -- Police are looking for the crook who used a gun to rob two gas stations in consecutive days and hope a critical clue can help lead to his capture.
Video from the Shell gas station at 1410 N. Park Drive on May 20th shows the armed suspect enter the store around 11 p.m. as the clerk was busy behind the counter.
The employee complied with the gunman's demands and emptied the cash register even as a customer walked inside.
The suspect fled the store with the money.
Police believe this same guy robbed the Marathon gas station at 13652 State Road 84 on the previous night.
In both crimes, he was wearing the same white-striped hooded jacket.
There's a $3,000 reward for anonymous tips that lead to his arrest. Call Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS (8477) or online at browardcrimestoppers.org.
