Aquatic Adventures: Wake Boarding In Deerfield Beach
In this week's Aquatic Adventures, an adventure in wake boarding in Deerfield Beach. Typically, wake boarding requires a boat to tow riders through the water and that can be expensive, not to mention hard to find if you don't own a boat. This may come as a surprise, but there is a water sports cable park right in our backyard! In fact, it is one of the largest in the world.
The park is called Ski Rixen and surfers, kite boarders and wake boarders from all over come to practice there, towed by a cable around the lake. In this video, CBS4's Jeff Beraradelli introduces Diego, a professional kite boarder who takes us on a tour of Ski Rixen.
