Apartment Fire Displaces Eight In Fort Lauderdale
FORT LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) – Firefighters responded to an apartment fire Sunday night that displaced eight people.
Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue responded to the fire at 936 SW 16 Street at 7:10 pm.
Heavy fire and smoke conditions could be seen when firefighters arrived.
According to firefighters, one patient was treated for smoke inhalation from an adjacent apartment, but did not want additional care.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
