American Airlines To Hire 80 Home-Based Employees
MIAMI (CBS4) - Looking for a job? American Airlines announced Wednesday that they are hiring 80 reservations representatives in the coming months.
The South Florida-based company said all positions are full-time and home-based. New employees will be able to work from home assisting customers with their travel needs by providing information on schedules, fares, and flight information. All new hires will be required to live within a 75 mile radius of Miami International Airport and complete a seven-week training programs which begins on June 10.
The airline said the first round of hiring last winter was a success and all employees hired are currently in training.
"We had a tremendous response when we posted the first 88 openings, and we are glad to be able to offer additional jobs," said Marilyn DeVoe, American's Vice President – Miami. "These positions will help us provide exceptional service to our customers and assist them with all of their travel needs."
