Amber Alert Cancelled, Woman & Children Found Safe In Volusia County
FORT LAUDERDALE (CBS4) - Fort Lauderdale Police say they have located the woman and three children that sparked an Amber Alert Wednesday night.
Fort Lauderdale Det. Travis Mandell says the woman and children were found safe and unharmed in Volusia County.
An Amber Alert was issued for three children ages 1, 3, and 4 at around 8 p.m. Wednesday after police say Louis Medardo Ramos abducted them from a Ft. Lauderdale trailer, along with a 20 year old woman named Santos Deysi Ortiz Lopez .
Details of the recovery are unclear. Police did not say if they had Ramos in custody.
Ramos is believed to be the father of two of the children.
Neighbors reportedly called the police after seeing Ramos dragging a tied up Lopez out of a trailer at 160 Nw 69th Street.
