5-foot alligator "arrested" at Florida home of 104-year-old woman
MIAMI – Gators are part of the way of life on the Florida peninsula, even for centenarians minding their own business at home.
The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office had been getting reports of a nuisance alligator spotted at the Jacksonville-area home.
A trapper was called out to grab it before handing it off to officers.
"We can't cuff him," an officer can be heard saying. "You are under arrest. You gotta leave the grandmas alone. I'm gonna take you downtown."
The gator was safely relocated.
