Alleged Broward Serial Bank Robber Arrested In Michigan
MIAMI (CBSMiami) – An alleged Broward County bank robber was arrested Monday after police say he took his act on the road.
Jeffrey Kelly Ross, 26, was arrested after allegedly holding up a Comerica Bank in Birmingham, Michigan.
It is unclear when and if Ross will be extradited back to South Florida.
FBI agents suspect Ross in the robberies at a Bank United in Lauderdale Lakes on May 9, 2012; another robbery at Chase Bank in Tamarac on September 7, 2012; two bank robberies targeting Bank of America in Tamarac on October 19, 2012 and November 2, 2012.
Ross is also alleged to have been involved in bank robberies at the Bank of America in Fort Lauderdale on Christmas Eve 2012 and also a BB&T bank in Tamarac on January 4 and another Bank of America in Fort Lauderdale on February 28.
