Abigail The Manatee Released Back Into The Wild

MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- Abigail the manatee will now be calling the South Florida waters home after being released Tuesday morning.
The 700 to 800 pound manatee was transported from Miami Seaquarium-where she successfully underwent rehabilitation- to Port St. John where she was released.
Back in March 2013, Abigail was rescued from the Indian River system near Merritt Island in Brevard County. She was suffering cold stress.
Crews at SeaWorld Orlando were able to care for her before she was transferred to the Cincinnati Zoo for rehab.
In October 2015, she was transferred back to Florida. This time to the Miami Seaquarium - her last stop before going back into the wild.
Seaquarium officials said she is somehwere between 3 to 5 years old.
