AA Flight To Miami Makes Emergency Landing In Denver
DENVER (CBSMiami/AP) – A flight headed from Seattle to Miami is back in the air and headed to South Florida after it made an emergency landing at Denver International airport.
American Airlines spokeswoman Dori Alavarez said the plane landed safely in Denver with 183 passengers after the crew reported the smell of smoke in the cockpit.
All of the passengers got off the plane while maintenance crews inspected it.
A short time later, they deemed it safe to fly. The passengers were allowed to re-board and the plane is scheduled to land at Miami International Airport shortly before noon.
