Tiger Woods' Ex Demolishes $12M Fla. Home
PALM BEACH (CBSMiami) -- Elin Nordegren, the former Swedish model who got $100 million after her divorce from golf pro Tiger Woods when his infidelity was revealed, has reportedly demolished her $12 million home in exclusive North Palm Beach and will build a new one on the plot.
A report by The Palm Beach Post shows a photo of the vast home taken in the spring, and then a photo of the empty plot taken on January 5.
According to the Post, Nordegren bought the home only about a year ago, after her highly public divorce from Woods in 2010.
A local realtor who told the paper he visited the house for a party in the autumn, said he heard the plan was initially to renovate the 1930s home, but that Nordegren decided to start completely from scratch after work got underway.
The old house in the exclusive Seminole Landing development had six bedrooms, eight bathrooms, an in-ground swimming pool, an elevator and a total floor space of 17,000 square feet, according to the Post.
