90-Year-Old Alligator Attack Victim Improving
COPELAND, Fla. (CBSMiami.com) – A 90-year-old woman who had to have part of her leg amputated after she was attacked by an alligator has seen her condition upgraded at a southwest Florida hospital.
Margaret Webb, of Copeland, Fla, is now listed in fair condition at Lee Memorial Hospital.
Webb was attacked while walking close to a canal outside her house August 31. A good Samaritan shot the alligator in the head once it finally released Web from its grasp.
Webb had to have her leg amputated below the knee due to the attack.
