$720K Bond Set For Hollywood Man In Child Porn Case

HOLLYWOOD(CBS4) – A Hollywood Hills man who was arrested and charged with possession of child pornography appeared in court Thursday where the judge set his bond at $720,000.

A two month investigation led to the arrest of former chiropractor Harve White early Wednesday morning. White, 58, was arrested inside a home in the 4300 block of Polk Street.

During a search of a home and White's computers, Hollywood police along with members of the South Florida Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force found more than 700 images of child pornography featuring children as young as the age of two 'in compromising positions', according to police spokesman Lt. Norris Redding.

"Incest, bondage, you name it. This guy had all types of images of kids," saidRedding. "During the investigation they confiscated computers, software and everything dealing with this type of crime.

Reddings aid White has a previous arrest for sexual battery of a 20-year old. After his arrest White  surrendered his chiropractor license.

"It's a sick individual to have these types of photographs of young kids in an age range of two, three, four, seven, ten. It was disgusting to see the images and positions, and this guy was in possession of them,"Redding said. We have some sick people."

Redding said investigators are now trying to determine if all of the pictures were downloaded off the internet or if some were taken by him in person.

"Put him away," said neighbor Edward Ebanks. "Anyone who do that, just put him away."
