560's 'HCK' Show & Channing Crowder Receive Local Honors
The hits keep on coming for Miami Sports Radio 560 WQAM.
After welcoming the Miami Dolphins back into the fold this past month, 560's Hochman, Crowder & Krantz (HCK) Show and one of its namesakes – Channing Crowder – received local honors from the New Times Publications Tuesday.
The HCK Show, the station's afternoon drive-home program airing weekdays from 2 to 6 p.m., received the honor of "Best Radio Show" from the Miami New Times as a part of its "Best of Miami" Arts and Entertainment section.
The trio of Marc Hochman, Zach Krantz and Crowder, provide both insightful commentary and light-hearted comedic antics centered around the world of sports.
Crowder, a former Dolphins linebacker, was added to the then-Hochman & Krantz Show in August 2015 and has been the perfect addition to the show with his off-beat outlook, hearty laugh and stories from his playing days.
That signature laugh helped earn the retired pro the honor of "Best Radio Personality" from the Broward/Palm Beach New Times in its "Best of Broward-Palm Beach" Arts and Entertainment section.
The power and popularity of the show booms as Crowder earned the "Best Personality" honor a year after Hochman received the same praise from The New Times in 2015.
Guess the spotlight is on you, Krantz…
