4 Injured In Medley Explosion
MEDLEY, Fla. (CBSMiami.com) – Three workers were airlifted and a fourth taken via ambulance from a Medley business Tuesday afternoon after an apparent explosion.
According to Medley Police, the explosion happened at the Medley Machine Shop at 9452 109th Street.
The explosion occurred as an employee was doing some work on a tank near heat and it exploded.
Medley Police said the three victims suffered burns and serious head injuries from the explosion.
According to CBS4's Maggie Newland, a woman in the office of the machine shop said the victims are at Jackson Memorial Hospital and will be okay before slamming the door.
