3 Charged In Miami Grow House Arrest Near School
MIAMI (CBS4)-Miami-Dade police arrested and charged three men after a marijuana grow house was discovered within 1,000 feet of a school.
Chopper 4 flew over the house Tuesday as the narcotic team was on the scene at SW 132 Avenue and 79th Street. The grow house was near Winston Park K-8 Center.
Facing charges are 43-year-old Miguel Baquero, Hector Lleo, 43, and 41-year-old Dagoberto Fernandez.
Baquero is facing possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of a school, possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, occupying a rental property for the purpose of manufacturing a control substance and trafficking marijuana.
Both Lleo and Fernandez were charged with possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of a school and possession of marijuana.
Police did not reveal how many marijuana plants were found at the property.
