Tow Truck And County Bus Collide Sending 32 To Hospital
POMPANO BEACH (CBSMiami) - Thirty-two people were transported to the hospital Thursday afternoon after an accident between tow truck, which was towing a car, and a Broward County Bus.
The accident, according to Pompano Beach Fire Rescue, occurred around 4 pm Thursday afternoon at 1400 W. Sample Road.
One patient was transported with moderately serious injuries, while the rest were minor injuries.
Nine people were transported by a City of Pompano Beach Parks and Recreation bus to Holy Cross Hospital. Twenty-three people were split between Broward Health North, Broward Health Imperial Point and Northwest Medical Center, according to authorities.
Both drivers are among the injured.
