Miami Beach Police Searching For Hit-And-Run Driver
MIAMI BEACH (CBSMiami/The Miami Herald) — Police on Miami Beach are searching for a vehicle that hit a cyclist on the MacArthur Causeway and then fled the scene Sunday night.
The hit-and-run accident took place around 7:30 p.m.
According to CBS4 news partner, The Miami Herald, the cyclist was traveling westbound on the causeway and was hit by the driver.
The cyclist's identity is unknown as well as his condition.
According to the paper, the police issued a search for a gray or silver Scion TC with the tag number 820LRT with front-end damage.
The vehicle is also missing a passenger side mirror.
