2 Dead In Pembroke Pines Police Involved Shooting
PEMBROKE PINES (CBS4) - Two people are dead following a domestic dispute and police involved shooting in Pembroke Pines Wednesday night.
Pembroke Pines police spokesman Sgt. Al Xiques said they received a call just after 8 p.m. about a couple fighting in home a home in the Chapel Trail subdivision at NW 1st Street and 189th Avenue. The woman involved in the fight, who was the man's girlfriend, was the person who called 911.
The first officer to arrive on the scene reported that several shots were fired, including some from his own gun, and that the couple was dead. The officer said he was not injured.
Police have not said if the shots fired by the officer struck either the man or the woman.
