2 Dead in Pembroke Pines Murder-Suicide
A mother and daughter were shot dead early Saturday, the daughter an apparent victim of murder-suicide at her mother's hand.
Dead are Shirley Campos, 49, and Patricia Campos, 11, according to Pembroke Pines Police spokesman Sgt. John Gazano, who speculates the girl was the daughter of Shirley Campos.
The police answered a call shortly after 1 a.m. Saturday that two people were shot and killed at 19408 SW 64th Street in Pembroke Pines. Both bodies were taken to the Broward County Medical Examiner's Office for the determination of cause of death.
On Saturday afternoon the ME confirmed that one adult woman had died from an apparent suicide, and one juvenile had died from a gunshot wound.
