2 Armed Home Invaders Shot, Killed In Palmetto Bay
PALMETTO BAY (CBS4) - Miami-Dade police are investigating the deaths of two men who may have been trying to commit an armed robbery in Palmetto Bay.
It happened at an apartment building on SW 95th Avenue and 172nd Street.
According to police spokesman Detective Roy Rutland, a homeowner fired shots at two masked home invaders. One man died at the scene. The second masked man jumped out of a third floor window and later died at the hospital.
The homeowner was not hurt.
