Miami Man Stabs Neighbor Dead Over Loud Music
MIAMI (CBS4)- Miami police are investigating a stabbing that began as a dispute between two neighbors over loud music and ended with the death of a Miami man.
According to police, at approximately 9:30 a.m., 24-year-old Phillip Arthur approached his neighbor, 51-year-old Dorian Hinkson, on the 1300 block of NW 66 Street about having his music much too loud.
Hickson became "enraged" after Arthur told him to turn the music down because his wife was sleeping.
Police said that's when Hinkson grabbed a knife and stabbed Arthur once in the chest in front of his children and wife in the courtyard of the complex.
Arthur fell to the ground.
Hinkson remained on the scene. Miami police arrived and arrested Hinkson and recovered the knife.
Arthur was transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital but died of his injuries minutes after arriving, police said.
