1 Dead, 1 Injured: Struck By Car In Coral Gables
CORAL GABLES (CBS4) – Two pedestrians were struck by a car in Coral Gables Monday, one was killed.
Coral Gables Fire-Rescue responded to a call for help where two people had been struck by a car between Le June Road and Valencia shortly before noon.
One of the people struck was pronounced dead on the scene, according to Coral Gables Fire-Rescue spokesman Capt. Troy Esly.
Coral Gables Police Officer Kelly Denham confirmed the death and said the injured man had been taken to an undisclosed hospital for treatment.
The driver has remained at the scene of the accident and is cooperating, according to Coral Gables Police.
